It started way back in 1988, with the start of Bama Rama. Bama Rama has grown into the largest meet in Alabama and a premier meet in the Southeast. There have been many venues in Tuscaloosa, AL for Bama Rama from Fosters Auditorium, The Cave in Coleman Coliseum, to its current location at the Belk Center.

The Bama Bounders have also hosted many Compulsory and Optional State Meets thru the years, including last seasons Compulsory State Meet, and this next seasons Optional State Meet. They have also hosted Boys State Meet in conjunction with the Girls Optional State Meet in 2010.

The newest meet by the Bama Bounders is Bounders Beach Bash hosted in Orange Beach, AL. The object of the meet is to bring families, gymnasts and coaches to the beach one last time before Jack Frost gets here.
